In China there are more than 30 administrative
divisions including provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities.
Each area has its own individual style of "Chinese
food." But only 8 of them stand out as major cuisines:
Chuan Cai (Sichuan or Szechuan Cuisine), Yue Cai (Guangdone
or Cantonese Cuisine), Jing Cai (Beijing Cuisine), Lu Cai
(Shandong Cuisine), Min Cai (Fujian Cuisine), Su Cai (Jiangsu
Cuisine), Wan Cai (Anhui Cuisine), and Xiang Cai (Hunan
Cuisine).
In Dragon Court you will be able to try the two most distinctive types of Chinese Cuisine —Cantonese & Szechuan. Our owner and chef, Wing, will suprise you from time to time with creative new dishes!
The Deco
In the old days, Qin (a string musical instrument), Qi
(a strategic board game), Shu (calligraphy),
Hua (painting) were the four basic skills and
disciplines of the Chinese literati. Calligraphy
in particular is a unique Chinese art. The younger
generation of Chinese are more and more westernized
and dependant on electronic devices, these four
kinds of art collectively become a more and more
important treasure of our culture heritage.
Here in Dragon Court you will not only enjoy Chinese food but also get to appreciate some beautiful artworks of Chinese calligraphy. Our designer and builder (Gina and Derek) and their team at Urbandeco had done a beautiful job combining the culture and style of the Chinese and the West. It is a masterpiece!
So make the trip to Dragon Court today and start the connection with "your Chinese restaurant in town"!
